One of the many things that allows Curacao to set itself apart from the other Caribbean destinations
is its unique and attractive blending of various architectural
styles.
In fact, Curacao has all types of different
architectural styles ranging from the decorative and elegant
forms of the 17th Century to the ultra modern utilitarian
styles of the 20th Century, including the contemporary styles
which provide a nice blend of traditional and recent designs.
Visitors who take the time to visit Fort Amsterdam
will appreciate the excellent job workers have done in restoring
the Governor's mansion.

Amsterdam called Fort Kerk, the steeple was constructed in
the 18th Century. |
